Dayboats, RIBs and other small boats can be lifted on and off customers own trailers (preventing submerging the trailer) at competitive rates. Larger vessels are craned out onto purpose built yard trailers and moved by tractor to the yard where they are craned off the trailer onto blocks or cradle for storage.

Launching and haul out is carried out at Bosham Quay primarily by mobile crane or occasionally for smaller vessels, by yard trailer and tractor at the slipway to the East of the Quay. Whilst tidal, the quay offers good access by water with at least 6’ of water on neap tides (far more on springs).

Lifting is carried out with a modern 22 tonne Kato City Crane. The crane is versitile, cabable of lifting boats weighing up to 10 tonnes, unstepping and stepping masts and lifting engines. The crane is road legal and used for boat movements both on the Quay and in the yard.
